Women's March October 13
Brunch, Shop, and Give on Armitage/Halsted
LPHS Homecoming Parade Friday
Dear Neighbors,

This month a new effort is beginning to celebrate the resurgence of Armitage and, at the same time, extend the vibrancy to Halsted. After much effort, most of the storefronts on Armitage Avenue are now full and thriving. Halsted, however, still has too many empty locations.

Join us Sunday, Oct 14 and Sunday, October 21 for "Brunch, Shop and Give" in the Armitage Halsted Shopping District. The Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce, the Mobile Merchants Group, and the University of Chicago's Clinic on Entrepreneurship are parking mobile boutiques on Halsted and promoting the new stores on Armitage.

We have worked hard to change the identity of our special shopping district. As reported in the Chicago Tribune, Armitage is now the " go-to destination for online retailers to open brick-and-mortar stores."

You'll enjoy shopping the more than 120 shops, restaurants and boutiques on Armitage/Halsted, including only-one-in-Chicago or the Midwest guideshop locations for Serena & Lily Tovala, Peruvian Connection, Black Tux, Bevello, The Tie Bar flagship store, Margaret O'Leary, Via Strozzi, Pogo, State and Liberty, Helen Ficalora, May & March, essentia. Calvin Tran, Laudi Vidni, and Interior Define These stores are joined by only in Chicago merchants Bela, Read It and Eat, Art Effect, All She Wrote, and Tabula Tua.

Plus, shop at these unique Mobile Boutiques:

Shop the Thrifty Fashionista:  https://www.shopttf.com/
To keep the momentum going, we are encouraging local landlords to register their space on thestorefront.com, a platform that advertises brands through pop-ups. In addition, we are meeting regularly with landlords to ensure that they are actively marketing their property.

I hope you will support your local shopping district in this next chapter of its transition.
