Consider the conversations that you have in a women’s ministry small group. Cindy enters the circle struggling with having hope for a wayward child. Caitlin can barely get to the church building to study the Word with the worries of raising her two toddlers wrapped around her ankles. Martha is grieving the loss of her husband after 40 years of marriage and is not sure what is next for her. Courtney doesn’t even know where to begin to help her teenager think biblically about being a believer in a public school. These current cultural narratives weigh heavy on their hearts and minds. They come hungry to learn the Bible but also hopeful there will be answers that will buoy their hearts. As women’s ministry leaders, we can help these women reframe the narrative that God has written into their life into His greater storyline of the Bible. As we walk them through Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Consummation, not only is the stage set for the Spirit to begin spiritual formation, but community is cultivated as we remember this is not a story that we walk alone.
Our 2025 Annual Women’s Ministry Leadership Training hopes to trace these big ideas and answer some of these big questions for you and the women you serve.
1. Creation – Everything and everyone as God created it to be. Key Questions: Where do we begin? What was God’s original design?
2. Fall – Everything and everyone in creation is broken. Key Questions: What went wrong? How has the Fall broken everything and everyone?
3. Redemption – God’s promise to redeem fallen creation through the death, burial, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. Key Questions: Where do we look for hope? How has Christ’s death on the cross brought about our redemption and renewal?
4. Consummation – The fulfillment of God’s plan to gather His people forever to live with Him in the new heaven and new earth. Key Questions: How does the Story end? How does living and longing for eternity fuel your hope?
