“Sacred Threads: Wedding Gowns through the Ages”
Step into history with a beautiful showcase of wedding dresses from the Civil War era to today, each paired with fascinating historical commentary. We will begin with a “mini retreat” featuring Leigh Anne Browne, a seventh-generation Floridian, who began an antique and vintage clothing collection which has grown into an archive of more than 450 wedding gowns from the Civil War era to today.
Leigh Anne will share her beautiful gowns, the stories and dreams associated with each one, and a journey from the Civil War to the present.
