The Big Story Shifts Our Perspective

God has been so good in sovereignly orchestrating "meta-moments" in my life to deliver much-needed shifts in my perspective. I have stood on the edge of the Grand Canyon, dipped my toes in the sand while staring at the endless vistas of the Atlantic Ocean, and celebrated in maternity wards with the cries of newborn babies. These scopes of the whole moments ground me and reframe how I view life. The Lord has graciously given me several opportunities this fall to zoom out and show me His glory on the grand scale.

This fall we traveled to Birmingham, San Diego, Colorado Springs, Naples, and Annapolis. We had the privilege of worshipping, learning, and laughing alongside over 2500 women in third grade and up. We hope that these conferences are only the beginning of conversations about the things that matter most. We are asking God to use these conferences as a catalyst to reshape the intergenerational discipleship cultures in our churches from cradle to grave. There is still room for you to register for Charlotte [we are over half filled!], Dallas, and Chicago. In my over 30 years of ministry, I have never witnessed anything like this rich intergenerational discipleship culture in 4-D, and we give all glory to God.

Our National Team has been busy planning for our Annual Leadership Training which will be held on February 20-22, 2025. Whether looking in the mirror or sitting across from the women we serve, we need to marinate our heads and hearts in The Big Story of the Bible to enable us to think biblically about all of life. Reframing anxiety, fear, loneliness, and spiritual formation through Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Consummation brings the needed perspective to cultivate a Word-based and relationally-driven discipleship culture.
