The first step was picking the right leader and visionary for the project. To me, this was the easiest decision of all. My choice was Ann Merrifield. She brought the wisdom, professionalism, and leadership that I knew we would need to keep all of the cats herded (spoken by the most distractible cat of them all!)

Committee Spotlight: Mentoring
Chaired by
Kim Harrison,
Direct Impaqt, and assisted by Women's Network Past President and Steering Committee member,
Jessica Macy,
New Chapter Coaching, the Women's Network Mentoring Committee's focus is connecting members that would like to be mentored with mentors.
The Mentoring Program spans from July to June with mentors being encouraged to meet monthly with their mentee during that time frame.
Do you like helping people prioritize and reach their goals, which might include expanding their professional network, balancing family time with work, or improving their sales skills? If so, please think about joining this committee. We review applications for the Mentoring Program, pair mentees with mentors, provide suggested topics for conversation for their monthly meetings, and host several meetings with just mentors or mentees to listen and learn from their feedback.
This committee is still very new-its second year--and it is a lot of fun to be a part of creating a program that benefits members that want to work one-on-one with each other. We'll end this year with a party-a Happy Hour mixer at a favorite local hangout!
