I'm more and more grateful for the leadership and historical context that our more seasoned members provide to the conversation. This is what gave me the idea for my letter this month. I wanted all of you to hear from someone whose leadership and wisdom I admire greatly. Member Profile - Teresa Snow
Teresa Snow is a name most everyone in Columbia knows from her years spent on TV at KMIZ and KRCG as a news anchor and reporter. She has taken the experience of reporting news, and being a newsroom leader at two local stations and put it to use at MU Health Care. Teresa's job for the past 2 ½ years has been Corporate Director of Strategic Communications and Media Relations for MU Health Care and the University of Missouri School of Medicine. Her team handles the internal and external communications, publications, social media, web sites and video projects. You can imagine the wonderful stories they want to share about health education, research and patient care.
After 26 years in journalism and television news, Teresa was able to bring some practical experience to her job at MU Health Care. However, one major change has been the move from a relatively small company to a very large organization. Teresa has learned to collaborate.....

A Gift for YOU!
As a proud member of Women's Network, we want you to be able to share that pride with others! During the month of May, the Marketing & Communications Committee will be mailing out window clings to each member of Women's Network.
Please display this gift either on the window of your vehicle, your business or in your office.
We hope that displaying these window clings will not only increase the visibility of our organization but also help you to make connections when you see the Women's Network logo when driving through town or at a local business.

Slipstream Time Hacking: How to Cheat Time, Live More, and Enhance Happiness by: Benjamin P. Hardy
Reviewed by: Danielle Woods
Any life coach worth their salt will tell you the same thing, time is an illusion. Wait, what? If we all get the same 24 hours in the day, how can time possibly be a figment of our imagination? In Slipstream Time Hacking by Benjamin P Hardy, the author suggests that this is true because of how we choose to use (or misuse) those 24 hours.
