Vice President of Operations
How long have you been in the design and manufacturing industry?
I have been in operations, engineering, and general management for over 35 years with extensive experience in commercial millwork and manufacturing operations.
Prior to Woodcraft, I was the General Manager at South Shore Millwork – Norton, MA. Previously, I spent 16 years as Director of Operations at Monarch Industries where I oversaw estimating, sales, and operations within the millwork division with over 600 employees.
I was also Vice President at A.H. Leeming & Sons a leading Boston architecture and design firm, which had millwork operations in Fall River.
Vice President of Operations is a newly created position within Woodcraft - What should we expect from you in this new role?
Prior to accepting my new position, I had the opportunity to review and better understand Woodcraft’s current production operation. They have a very good team. I was most impressed with the skill set of their engineering and manufacturing teams. This father and son team have done a very nice job developing their business. To start, my focus will be on the current production schedule and manufacturing floor operations. I am all about process, process, process. It is through process and tracking that we’ll be able to analyze where we can improve, streamline, reduce cost, and minimize mistakes in the entire workflow – start to finish.
Our customers and partners expect a high-quality product to be delivered and installed on-time. To do this, we must have a well-defined operational process being executed by the best people, using the best tools, materials, and manufacturing technologies. And all done with the highest level of honesty and integrity. We have the right tools in our toolbox and I am looking forward to growing and improving the Woodcraft brand and business. It will be fun.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Well, I have been married a long time to my beautiful wife, Jeannie and we have three great adult sons - David, Josh, and Jonathan. As you can imagine, managing any large-scale operation requires a lot of attention and time, which I enjoy. My days start very early, but I make a point to try and be home for dinner with Jeannie and the boys – if they’re around. Family time is extremely important to me, especially meal time. There is nothing better than catching up on the day’s happenings with the people you care most about while sharing a meal - It is a gift.
My weekends are riddled with my own tinkering projects around my Plainville home. There is always something to work on or fix or build or to just relax. Home is where your family is, and I enjoy my Home.
