National Career Networking Chairs with a Vision

Gunnar Gregory '07 and D. French Slaughter '04, board members with Woodberry’s New York City and Charlottesville Regional Chapters respectively, are national career networking chairs inspired to advance a vision for professional engagement at Woodberry.  

A Memorable Friday Assembly with Damon Mosley '90

Friday assembly at Woodberry is a time for students and faculty to join together in Bowman Gray Auditorium to hear about school life. Boys sit by advisory group and end each assembly by reciting A Boy’s Prayer. As a weekly ritual, it signals the importance of gathering together as one school community.   

A recent assembly included Damon Mosley ’90 and dear friends and classmates Marcus Malone, Adam Taylor, and Kyle White. Their discussion about Woodberry then, now, and life beyond The Forest was a memorable one.

The Game & New Athletic Logos Released

The Game united the Tiger Nation throughout the weekend. From Friday night's bonfire at Woodberry to Saturday in Alexandria with the Capital Regional Chapter's tailgate, as well as class tailgates organized by current parents, Tigers were on the scene to root on the football team. The excitement wasn’t confined to Woodberry and Alexandria, however, as alumni organized watch parties in eight locations around the country. 

On Friday morning before the bonfire, new athletic logos were unveiled to the student body. You can see the release of the "This Family" video here.
