Have you come to visit and play the new Disc Golf Course in Woodbury? It's fun, easy and something new for you!

After over 100 volunteer hours of work Woodbury will have its first Disc Golf Course. A par 3, nine hole course is officially opening up to the public on August 1st at 5pm* The course begins at Orenaug Park in the Senior Center parking lot at 265 Main Street South, Woodbury.
We wanted the course to be something that could be enjoyed by people from age 9 to 95.

A HUGE Thank You to Ray Robillard, for his countless volunteer hours to make this happen!

All the holes are short (between 100 and 200 feet). You can borrow a disc to play with and so you can literally come with nothing and if you like it you could play whenever you want without paying a cent.

No Disc? No Problem!
WOW has provided discs for those who would like to participate or try out the course. The discs will be available to check out at the Woodbury Public Library with your library card.
Want to play Disc Golf with others?

This 6 week program will teach your child fundamentals of self-defense, team work, improved self-confidence and introduce them to the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as popularized by the Gracie Family of Brazil.

We've designed our program to teach the core values of jiu jitsu as a lifestyle-striving to create a fun and practical approach to not only prepare children to defend themselves so they don't have to; but as a way to teach respect, self-confidence, teamwork and valuable listening skills they can carry into the classroom and beyond.

Woodbury Public Library is looking for community input as the Library Board and Staff prepare to rewrite the library's strategic plan. Library services are continually evolving to meet our patron needs and Woodbury is no exception. We recently updated our logo and we are redesigning our website to make it more user friendly and attractive. Both users and non-users of the library are welcome to take the 5 minute survey and let us know what we're doing correctly and suggest other ideas for us to consider.
Paper copies can also be picked up,  at the Library and Senior Community Center. The survey remains open through October 30th. Please share with us!
