Programs, camps, projects, events… summer is here & in full swing! From traditional sports to new programs kicking off soon, make sure to read through the entire newsletter as we have summer camp spots selling out quick, summer concerts that need to be tagged on your calendar & plenty of other reasons to be excited for summer’s arrival in Woodbury! Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Thank you to everyone who joined us on May 28th for Woodbury’s Annual Memorial Day Parade, honoring those that gave their lives for our freedom. We thank the many community organizations that came together to create a special day of celebration and gratitude.

HUGE thank you to the Woodbury Lions Club for their generous support. We are excited for the opportunity to offer assistance to deserving participants the summer camp experience due to their generosity. We are grateful for our wonderful community partners like the Woodbury Lions Club.
Charter Oak Dedication

This is one park detail that’s set in stone!

Please stop and view the Charter Oak’s new dedication stone in Bicentennial Green.

The stone was generously donated by Cliff Ritter, local mason.

We’d also like to thank Tree Warden, Bud Neal, for his continued efforts to improve this living historic town treasure.
Eagle Rock Trail
Thank you, Robert Walsh, for choosing Woodbury Parks and Recreation for your Eagle Scout Project!

This beautiful kiosk provides a place to rest and a detailed trail map for Bethel Rock Trail at the Park Lane Trail Head in Orenaug Park. 
Minortown Road Preserve
We are open for business!
We're very excited to announce that the gate is open at MRP and a temporary natural barrier was installed, delineating where vehicles are permitted to access. The sun is shining, the river is stocked, so we hope to see you soon enjoying fishing, walking and other passive recreation. We don't want this beautiful space abused, so please report any misuse immediately. Thank you for all the community support and to all the volunteers that gave their time to make this happen!

Please note: The Woodbury Middle School Tennis Courts are owned and operated by Region 14. Any maintenance issues or lighting requests should be directed to the Region Business Office at 203-263-4330.

The Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department does not have any jurisdiction over these courts. Thank you!
