Hello everyone!

This month's newsletter comes to you from Judy, your P&R Clerk.

Jami is out of the office for a while because she just had her little baby girl! Congratulations to Jami and Jimmy on their beautiful little Peyton Dawson Gore!

While Jami is out, it will be business as usual here at Parks & Rec. We are just about ready for our very popular Summer Camp! Registration will open at noon on April 3rd. We have lots of great activities planned for the K-6 campers, and field trips every day for the Teen Travel Camp!

We are also scheduling summer programs, camps that run for a week and offer all sorts of activities, such as the ever-popular SkyHawks sports camp, Food Explorers Baking Camp, Summer Dance Camp with Main Street Ballet, and the You Gotta Believe Basketball Camp!

There are still opportunities for Camp Counselors and Counselors-In-Training! See below for the applications.

Our Annual Egg Hunt will take place on April 1st at Hollow Park. Come by and take a photo with the bunny! Then be on the lookout for chocolate eggs!

We're looking forward to summer and our Summer Concert Series at Hollow Park, which will feature some old favorites and some new talent! Mark your calendars for Wednesday nights, June 28 through July 26. Music begins at 6:30. Bring a folding chair or blanket and a picnic or snacks!

Don't forget, if you'd like to host a birthday party or get-together at the Pavillion at Hollow Park, do so soon. It's a busy place in the summer and dates get booked up quickly!

SUMMER PROGRAMS and CAMPS

Woodbury Parks & Recreation Summer Camp registration will

open at noon on April 3rd.

Please note that our camp sells out quickly!

Camp begins June 26 and ends July 28th.

Our K-6th Grade Camp is 8:30am to 2:30pm, five days a week. Mon, Tues and Thursday at Woodbury Middle School. Wednesdays are field trip days. Fridays (weather permitting) we are at Hollow Park. Fourth of July week there is no camp on Tuesday.

Our Teen Travel Camp, for grades 7-9 is four days a week. Camp runs from 9:00am to 3:00pm, but there may be some days we arrive back to WMS a little later, depending on the field trip. There is no TTC camp on Friday. Every camp day is a field trip and this year we have some new and exciting locations booked! Please note that several of these trips require waivers to be signed and that must be completed in advance, otherwise your camper cannot go on the trip. Fourth of July week there is no camp on Tuesday but that week we will have camp on Friday.

Please note: The Woodbury Middle School Tennis Courts are owned and operated by Region 14. Any maintenance issues or lighting requests should be directed to the Region Business Office at 203-263-4330.
