To all of our patrons:
HAPPY SPRING!
We are looking ahead at the next few months and we are happy to bring to you and NEW activities calendar for the months of March and April! Every day you'll find a suggestion or challenge for that day to help you get through the "winter blahs" that often creep up during the winter months. This calendar was created to provide the Woodbury community an opportunity to have some fun while staying active and building stronger relationships through a healthy lifestyle, both in mind and body. If you are performing activities with toddlers to elderly, please modify and supervise as is necessary. The calendars are posted on our Woodbury Parks and Recreation website. You may also follow our Facebook Page and it will be posted there as well.
Our website offers great resources to many questions as well. woodburyparksandrec.org should you have questions during our off hours.
HOLLOW PARK PLAYGROUND:
We are thrilled with this new warmer weather, which always brings more people our to our trails and parks.
NOTE: The playground is not sanitized and is used at your own risk. We want you to know that it is recommended that you wash your hands before you go on the playground, social distance, and use a mask. If you, your child, a family member or someone that lives with you is ill, or has been asked to quarantine, please refrain from visiting the park(s) and playground until that particular quarantine is over. Thank you!
The bathrooms at the Hollow will be open this year. We ask that if you are using the bathroom, that you wear a mask, and socially distance, meaning just one person (if possible) in the bathroom at once, per the First Selectman. The bathrooms will be cleaned once daily.
Keep on checking on your neighbors, send a friendly note or email, continue helping out and being positive, active citizens of Woodbury! Get those bodies moving, minds thinking and get some fresh air!
Thank you for your continued support in keeping Woodbury a clean, happy and beautiful place to live and play! If you have questions regarding this newsletter, please feel free to call
Sincerely,
Woodbury Parks & Recreation
