*Before your next registration, we ask that you take a moment to update your password. Yoga & Pilates Instructors! Classes have begun!
Moves through active, breath guided, flowing postures, allowing students to fully embody alignment and movement both energetically and physically. The sequences integrate standing, hip openers, forward bends, twists, back bends, and restorative postures while strengthening and stretching muscles, increasing bone density, releasing tension, and centering body-mind.

Babysitting Course
Ages 10 - 16
Saturday, April 27th 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Rec House, 7 Mountain Rd, Woodbury
Have you always wanted to be a babysitter? In this program, you will learn basic information on child development; bottles and feeding children, diaper changing, potty time, temper tantrums, appropriate toys and play for all ages, allergies, safety, information gathered from parents, and cover situations related to police, fire, health safety and basic first aid. Participants
will receive a Certificate of Completion once you have completed the course. Please bring lunch, snack and water bottle.

Violin and Viola lessons are available for children and adults! Students will learn classical technique on their own or rented instrument. 30 minute sessions on Mondays or Tuesdays, for 6 weeks!

Mitchell Elementary School
Session 2 begins on April 1st!
Yogis in grades K - 5 will build flexibility, strength, and concentration while exploring different yoga poses and breathing techniques. Classes will be filled with lots of fun, games, teamwork and creativity!
Please bring a water bottle and snack! Yoga mats are provided.

Winter Session is underway! Spring Session begins May 8th and runs until the end of the school year!
This class will combine the wonderful world of science with the creative world of art! We will do a variety of experiments and turn them into works of art! Children will enjoy exploring various reactions, textures and color mixing while socializing and learning with friends old and new!

Cardio Kick Boxing NEW!
Ages 14 years to adult

Spring Session 2 starts May 2nd, register today!
This high-energy interval workout challenges the beginner and elite athlete alike. Build stamina, improve coordination and flexibility, and burn calories as you build lean muscle with this fun and challenging workout in a no judgement zone. The last 20 minutes of class will focus on full body conditioning and core work. Beginners to Advanced levels are welcome as the instructor will offer modifications to ALL participants. Please bring a mat and water bottle.

The 30/30 Workout
Age 14 - active older adults
Mondays at 3:30 - 4:30 PM

Summer Session in June!
This class consists of 30 minutes of high intensity cardio intervals, followed by 30 minutes of muscle conditioning using your own body weight.
Come workout in a judgement free zone. ALL levels are welcome as modifications will be given.

Badminton For Adults
Age 16 - older

April 3rd - June 5th
Badminton for intermediate players. Players should have knowledge of the competitive game for both doubles and singles including the rules to each. No instructor, just an evening to come and enjoy playing the game. Please bring your own racquet and shuttlecock.

As part of the celebration, you have the opportunity to recycle old and used markers (of any brand) as part of a
school and town wide initiative to go green!
Bring your markers to the Woodbury Library,
Parks and Rec, Rec House and the Woodbury Senior Center!
There will also be a collection point at the
Earth Day event as well!

Bee Keeping 101

Have you always wanted to keep honeybees, but do not know how to get started? The WPR department will be hosting a honeybee keeping class. Mike Rice of Mike's Beehives LLC will instruct participants on parts of a hive, installing bees into a hive, bee life cycles and how to register your bees with the State of CT and more! Mike will bring all the equipment needed to cover all aspects of bee keeping!
