Dear Parents and Guardians,
This was an amazing week that made the entire Woodbury Community so proud of our students and staff! We had a wonderful celebration recognizing our Woodbury Female Scholars. It was so rewarding hearing all of their accomplishments over this school year and the impact it made on them as high achieving females at Woodbury! Mrs. Garrison and Mrs. Thomas-Taylor are to be commended for their hard work and dedication with our Woodbury Female Scholars.
In addition,we had two excellent Orchestra Concerts held at Shaker Heights Middle School. The students did a great job performing in front of family, friends, and guests. The growth our students have made this year with their musical gifts was fun to hear. Mrs. Clouser and Mr. McDonough continue to do great work with our Orchestra students. Bravo!
To round off the week, the Woodbury Open House/Math Fair was simply mind blowing! The math fair project, created by each student, showcased math application at its finest. The art department should be applauded for the display of votives. Parents, friends, faculty and guests were emotionally moved by the student's design and note of gratitude as they walked through the library and art room where the votives were displayed. What a night! Thank you teachers and staff for a wonderful Open House!
Thank you for another great week at Woodbury Elementary School!
Always believe!!

RED NOSE DAY
On Monday, May 7, Student Council is starting it's Red Nose Day Campaign. Red Nose Day is a campaign with the mission to end child poverty by funding programs that keep children safe, healthy, and educated. Through the power of entertainment, it brings people together to laugh and have fun, all while raising life-changing cash for the children that need it the most. Since the debut in 2015, it has raised nearly $150 million and has positively impacted over 16 million children in America and around the world.
Every day, Student Council will be entertaining Woodbury with a joke on the announcements to get our kids geared up for our campaign! On Tuesday, May 8th, collection envelopes will be in each classroom for donations.
No donation is too small! This will go until Wednesday, May 22nd.
On Thursday, May 23rd, students will receive noses to wear!
Thank you so much for your support! If you have any questions, please hesitate to ask! Haha… joke #1.
