It's green hair day! St. Baldrick's is finally here!
Team Woodbury
is growing, along with our hair and our donations. We have 10 team members and have raised over $3700 this year! That puts our 4 year total over $18,000 raised by our kids, families, teachers, and community for pediatric cancer research. This could still be the year we top the $20,000 mark for our school.
If you'd like to cheer on your Woodbury team (and a huge team of alums at the Middle School, as well as teams from Fernway, Onaway, and Boulevard) as they brave the shave this Sunday, the event is from 12-3 at the Cleveland Heights Community Center.
Woodbury's time slot is right around 1:00. It's never too late to donate.
Team Woodbury | A St. Baldrick's Team
If you see someone with green hair today, next time you see them, they'll have a lot less hair! Give these risk-takers a
big high five
and congratulate them for being the change they want to see in the world!

“6th Grade Camp News”
We are excited that 6th grade camp is right around the corner! The cost of camp will be $145. Payments for camp may be made in installments via cash or check (payable to Woodbury) sent to school with your child, or through the use of a credit card or electronic check via the District's on-line payment system. You may log on to www.shaker.org , click Parent Resources, then "PayForIt". Once you are signed in, locate the "Activities" button to make your payment. We are encouraging all parents/guardians to begin making partial or full payments early for camp. Please note: If your check is returned for insufficient funds (NSF), your account will be debited electronically for both the face amount of the check and the returned check fee of $30.
(If you save about $12 a week or about $1.75 a day until the first week of camp, you will have covered the cost of camp!)
Parent Camp Informational Meeting
Parents – Please plan to attend this informational meeting for 6th grade camp. It will be held on April 15, 2019 at 7:00pm in the Woodbury Auditorium.
Prize Donations & Camperships Needed for Camp
Prizes can be small, inexpensive items children would find fun. Some popular items last year were posters, t-shirts, card games, balls, hats, books, jump ropes, water bottles, and stuffed animals. We are also looking for monetary donations for "camperships" to help support all students' ability to participate in 6th grade camp. We welcome donations to the Campership fund! Do you have something to donate?
Please contact Ms. Rashid at Woodbury at 295-4154.
Thank you for your help making this a great camp experience for all of our 6th graders!
