Dear Parents and Guardians,
I would like to thank all the parents and guardians who attended Parent Teacher Conferences this week. I was very pleased with the attendance for conferences and I'm sure the teachers appreciated having all the parents in attendance as well! This supports the District's Strategic Plan to engage school and community stakeholders as active partners.
Have you heard of the Blue Man Group? Well, last week I became the Green Man Principal. Both 5th and 6th grade students enjoyed "

Tuesday, October 31st is Halloween. Classroom teachers will be communicating their guidelines for Halloween in their weekly flyers.
Woodbury's 5th Grade students are allowed to dress in costume. Guidelines for dressing in costume are as follows:
Halloween Guidelines
Students who wish to wear costumes must:
1. Wear clothing appropriate for a public place. For example, no night clothes (pajamas, nightgowns), baby clothes, bathing suits or diapers.
2. Wear clothes that permit freedom of movement. Costumes should allow students to walk up and down stairs and move freely in the hallways.
3. Masks are not permitted. Face paint and makeup are fine. In the past, there were crimes and mischief surrounding people dressed like clowns, no clown costumes are permitted.
In order to have a safe and fun holiday, parents and students, please follow costume guidelines.
Students are strictly prohibited from bringing any toy weapons or objects which could be harmful to individuals.
If your child does not celebrate the holiday, please advise the teacher and alternate arrangements will be made.
Thank you for another great week at Woodbury Elementary School!
Always Believe!
