Woodinville 2026 Data Shows Visitor Growth

New data shows that visitation to Woodinville is trending upward, with number of daily visitors and spending both increasing.

  • Year to date, the number of daily visitors to Woodinville has increased 4% from 2025
  • In 2026 so far, the visitor average length of stay is 4.3 days, up from an average of 3.9 days in the same time period last year.
  • Visitor spending in Woodinville reached $39 million to date in 2026, a 25% increase from the same time period in 2025.
  • Visitor dollars extend well beyond wineries. Grocery and department stores captured 31% of visitor spending, retail 24%, and dining/nightlife 18%.
  • On average visitors spend $228 per trip over 3.25 transactions.

Traffic Notice: Traffic Patterns To Change Around 133rd Ave NE Construction Zone

Beginning Monday, September 14, traffic patterns around the 133rd Ave NE roundabout construction zone will change:


➡️ Little Bear Creek Pkwy (NE 177th Place) will reopen to eastbound traffic only, through 134th Street.



⬅️ Woodinville-Snohomish Rd will be open to westbound traffic only, from the Woodinville Post Office to Southbound 133rd Ave NE.


While 132nd Ave will be partially closed, local access to the surrounding businesses will be available and appreciate your continued support.

  • Local access to businesses will remain open
  • Traffic flaggers on-site to manage business access and traffic flow.
  • Brief delays are expected as construction vehicles enter and exit the work zone


Sip Outside, Woodinville in Full Swing

This summer, several Woodinville businesses participated in the Sip Outside, Woodinville program, a temporary state authorization that allows for “libation zones," in which business can expand alcohol consumption into public outdoor space. Participating Woodinville businesses have praised the program for boosting local economic viability, enhancing community connection, and elevating the visitor experience by offering flexible outdoor seating and an open, walkable drinking atmosphere. Check out these photos from expanded alcohol zones around town. Expanded alcohol service authorization is valid through December 2027. Licensees may apply at any time at no cost.

Volunteers Needed for Tree Planting Event

The City invites you to join us for a volunteer tree planting event on Saturday, October 3, as we work together to create a Miyawaki Forest. Our goal is ambitious: 300 volunteers working together to plant native trees and shrubs! We’re inviting organizations, clubs, groups, families, and individuals to be part of this community effort.


What is a Miyawaki Forest?The Miyawaki planting method uses dense plantings of diverse native species to quickly establish a healthy, resilient forest ecosystem.

Last year Woodinville businesses reported that Lime use drove increased customer visitation to their businesses.
