Text Message Test
The Bright School uses a text messaging alert system to let you know about unexpected or weather-related closures or delays. Each year, we must test this system and add our new families. The test will take place tomorrow.

If you are a new family, you need to opt in by responding to the text message with a Y or yes. If you are returning, you do not need to take any action after receiving the text. If you have questions or do not receive a text tomorrow, please contact Renee' Kropff at [email protected].
Need Ideas for Breakfast and Family Meals?
Cristina Caro, a dietitian with the school's food provider, Sodexo, is coming Wednesday, October 10, to talk to parents about breakfast and family meals. Her presentation will begin at 8 a.m. and be held in the dining hall. All parents are invited.

Hurricane Florence Book Drive
Keep bringing books for the Hurricane Florence Book Drive!

We are teaming up again with Destinee's Gift, a nonprofit started last year by the family of first grader Destinee Harris after Hurricane Harvey. Last year, we sent more than 1,400 books to the Houston area.

Please bring gently-used children's books through this Friday. Collection bins are in each hallway.
Admissions Playground Play Date
Prospective families for grades JPK-K are invited to the Fall Playground Play Date on Saturday, October 27, from 10-11 a.m. on the Enchanted Forest Early Childhood Playground.

If you have a younger child ready to start Bright next year or know a family who may be interested, please email Director of Admissions Brooke Moore at [email protected].
