Bright Scene
With the help of science teacher Melanie Nestler and Spanish teacher Cindy Avendano, second graders are following the migration of Monarch butterflies to Mexico. To symbolize the journey, each student colored a butterfly picture, and it was mailed to a school in Mexico. The children there will take care of the butterflies over the winter and send them back in the spring.
