Thank you to everyone who participated in the Bright Fund. The children enjoyed a splashing good time on Friday thanks to your generosity. It's not too late! Our goal is 100% parent participation. Please show your love for Bright School! Special thanks to Lucy and Daniel Sawrie '85, Bright Fund Chairs.
Reminders
Front Desk Procedures
If you are visiting school for any reason, please sign in at the front desk. Please be prepared to show your ID when picking up your child during the day, and let grandparents, nannies and anyone else authorized to pick up your child know they need to provide an ID.

No Parking Areas
Please do not park in the two spaces reserved as auction purchases. These spaces are located in front of the columns. They are reserved 24/7. Do not park there even if you are running inside for a few minutes.

Text Alerts
We will conduct a text message alert test on Wednesday. We notify parents of unexpected closures or delays to school through the text alert system. If you did not turn in a text alert form, please do so now. Lost the form? Click here.

Car Line
Please follow the vehicle in front of you when exiting the car line. Do not pull around vehicles in front of you. This is for the safety of pedestrians. Also, do not block driveways along McDade Lane.

Fobs
The main door at the columns is locked during school hours. Parents may purchase fobs that will let them into the door during the day. Fobs are $9, and payment may be submitted to Elizabeth Jackson at the front desk. Please note fobs do not unlock the door after 4 p.m.

After School Classes
All after school classes except archery and Monday classes begin this week.

Parent Conferences
The portal to sign up for parent-teacher conferences will open on Friday. Conferences are September 26 and 27 for grades JPK-3 and all week for grades 4-5.
Get Ready for Bonanza
Watch for an order form for food, tickets and wristbands coming home with your child this week. All food must be ordered in advance, and forms are due next Wednesday, September 11. Didn't get a form? Click here.

What is Bonanza? Bonanza is a carnival-like event for students and their families on September 20 from 4-7 p.m. at the school. That is a half day, and all students dismiss at 11:30 a.m. There will be no Bright Afternoons to allow for set up at the school.

Students may wear their Bonanza shirts on these Fridays: September 6, September 13 and September 20. Shirts are worn with any uniform bottom or shorts or skorts sold in the Bright 1913 Bookstore. There are some shirts still available in the office.
