Dear Bright School Community,
This past Friday, a few of us had the immeasurable pleasure of traveling to each of our 5th grade homes to deliver a small tribute to our soon-to-be graduates. After having been apart for so long, all of us so enjoyed this chance to honor our wonderful students and see their beautiful faces.
As I greeted many of them, I couldn't help but feel an immense pride in their courage and goodness. Even in the midst of such a difficult time, they met me with smiles, gratitude, and good wishes. They showed the strength that will get them through tough times in the future, which are a part of life and something every human being must learn to confront. More than anything they have accomplished during their years at Bright School, their good-hearted determination to maintain their hope for the future reveals their maturity and strength of character. I am so grateful for them and what they've taught us all.
To those of you who happen to know any of our 5th graders, I would encourage you to reach out to them with your thanks and congratulations. They deserve our admiration and praise, now more than ever. Here's to the Class of 2020!
Sincerely,
