Health Reminders
Our face coverings requirement remains in place for the remainder of the school year. Please make sure your child has a mask that fits well and that he or she brings extras to school.

If your child tests positive or is exposed to a positive case, please
contact Nurse Rachel at [email protected].

With warmer temperatures here, make sure your child has a water bottle at school each day.
Bright World This Week
The school is celebrating Bright World Week this week. We will be having a special menu for lunch, and teachers will present mini-lessons about different countries. Students will learn games from around the world in P.E. Bright World is a time when we recognize the many countries and cultures represented in our school family.
We Read 1 Million Minutes!
We surpassed 1 million minutes of reading on Friday! Mr. Morgan announced the milestone to the school over the intercom, and students cheered in their classrooms. Weather permitting, Mr. Morgan will go on the roof on April 22 and spend the night.
Spring of Gratitude
We are honoring Mr. Morgan and his 17 years at Bright School this spring. He will retire at the end of the school year. JPK and PK planned fun activities with him and gave him gifts last week. This week is kindergarten's turn. To learn more about what JPK and PK did and to view videos of them singing and learning with Mr. Morgan, click here.
Class Pictures on Wednesday
Lifetouch will be here on Wednesday to take class pictures. JPK wears regular school clothes, and grades PK-4 wear uniforms. Fifth graders dress up for their class photos. Students will be coming home with order forms or you may order the photos online using the instructions on the order forms.

The slate of Parents' Association officers for 2021-2022 will be approved virtually on May 14. The president and treasurer positions were affirmed in last year's vote and do not require a vote this year. Many thanks to these wonderful volunteers.

Next Track Meet: April 12
The next track meet will be today. The next are April 19 and April 26. Due to these meets, this will impact our normal Bright Afternoons pick-up routine.

On the days of track meets, Bright Afternoons and help class pick-ups will be at the concourse. When you pull down the driveway, please drive in front of the concourse area with your green name sign visible on your dashboard. Also, please be ready to inform our Bright School parking officer of your need to pick up from Bright Afternoons. Our Bright Afternoons staff will call for your child and sign them out.

There will be no parking available on campus during track meets, so plan to stay in the car as you drive up.
