The resource book for the series is Adam Hamilton's, Revival: Faith As Wesley Lived It. You can find the companion video series on YouTube .
COME AND WORSHIP
Sabbath Beginnings – Sacred Journey – Traditional Worship
WORD for Sabbath Beginnings 8am

Worship Leader: Rev. Jim McChesney

Holy Communion : Righteous One, help me to suffer for the right reason, for Your sake, for God-likeness and commitment to You, not for self-pity or petty sensitivity. I will stand strong when opposed for pursuing You, and I will fall deeper into Your arms.

What does blessed mean? It means joy produced by the revelation of His matchless grace. It means living in God’s kingdom in our heart, so that our satisfaction comes from Him, not from favorable circumstances.

Ask God how to intercede for others using the Beatitudes as the model of the character of Jesus that He wants to work in them. Pray for Jesus to fulfill all His blessings in their lives.

The Story: Wait, It’s not Over! – Steve Blons

Reflection:   This week Steve Blons shares The Story as we look at a vision of what’s possible when communities catch the vision of next-level spirituality. The path to wholeness for the world seems to run straight through the backyard of God’s people. Yet we sometimes struggle with what that means for us, especially when life deals us an unexpected blow. Come share a morning of community, contemplation (and pretty good coffee!) with some friends who are willing to join you on the journey. All are welcome!

Passion and Practice: The Heart of Methodism

Reflection: Copper Street Brass, HAUMC Resident Artists, will be with us this coming Sunday when we worship, sing, pray and reflect on the perseverance of John Wesley and the early Methodists. What can we learn from the Wesley's as we reflect on our own responses to the joys and the difficulties we face each day. How will our faith deepen in the midst of trying times? How will we live with passion as we practice being Methodists in our time?

Bring a friend to worship with you this Sunday and stay for brunch!
