A SPECIAL SAFE AT HOME EDITION
Update on WCCDC's Response to COVID-19 Crisis
As previously announced, the WCCDC cancelled non-emergency appointments until April 6 in response to the COVID-19 crisis.

In alignment with Governor Evers’ Safer At Home Order, we are extending this through April 24 . This date is subject to change pending further information and any subsequent mandates.

During this period, we will continue to conduct emergency appointments to assist patients with an immediate care need and to support our healthcare partners, as we do not want patients with an urgent dental need to turn to the emergency room. Dental emergency symptoms include pain/discomfort or facial swelling.
To schedule an emergency appointment, please call 262-522-7645.
The Face of Emergency Care
In our first three weeks of emergency care, we have helped more than 40 patients. Some of these are existing patients but many are new patients with nowhere else to turn.

A new adult patient treated this week was referred to us from a local ER and needed immediate extractions. Having recently lost his job, he had no other care options. Our team was quick to offer emergency treatment, regardless of ability to pay.

A young man treated this week (pictured at left) recently completed an extensive treatment plan to remedy years of lack of access to dental care. He needed immediate care on a crown and was grateful that the WCCDC was still there for him.

These are just two examples of the life-changing care happening at the WCCDC.
Ways You Can Help
Delivering this care and continuing operations comes with a cost and we've had inquiries on how people can help. Thank you to our friends and funders for this commitment to our mission! Below are a few of the immediate needs of our clinic:

Monetary Donations
Donations assist with emergency care, earned revenue losses during this period, and clinic operations.

Amazon Wish List
Several outdated and over-used clinic and waiting room materials were disposed of during our efforts to sanitize. Our Amazon Wish List offers items currently needed.

Gift Cards and Raffle Items
This time of year, we typically appeal to small business and restaurant donors for gift certificates and products used in our spring and fall event fundraising. We would welcome gift certificates purchased from a small business or restaurant, which supports these partners and our clinic's upcoming events.
