Caring During COVID-19
As previously shared, the WCCDC cancelled non-emergency appointments effective March 17 in response to the COVID-19 health pandemic and the Safer at Home Order.

Over the last eight weeks we have conducted emergency treatment only, which has been met with considerable demand. We've served 127 patients, 40% of whom are new patients.

We've been grateful to offer this care to those with nowhere else to turn during these very challenging times. We will continue emergency care until we're able to fully resume operations.

A special thank you to the Delta Dental of Wisconsin Foundation, MKE Responds Fund, United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County's Urgent Needs Fund, and the Women & Girls Fund of Waukesha County for providing grant support to help execute this programming.

Putting Our Patients First
We are eager to get back to seeing our patients and have been working diligently on planning for what the "new normal" in our clinics looks like.

Our clinical and operations team is:
  • Preparing new safety protocols for patients and staff
  • Designing patient communication for pre-appointment calls, outlining our safe treatment
  • Gathering operational guidelines from the ADA, CDC and DHS
  • Securing personal protective equipment to support these protocols

We currently plan to resume regular programming in June, starting with restorative appointments to remedy decay and other oral health issues. We will then reschedule hygiene appointments from March, April and May that were missed. Above all, we remain committed to our mission and our patients.
