The Tompkins Chamber is proud to host a DEI: Brave Space session, "Words Matter: The Power of Inclusive Language" presented by Debra Howell.
This interactive session is designed to delve into the nuances of inclusive language. Our choice of words has the power to either foster unity or create distance. By mastering the art of inclusive language, we can enhance team collaboration and drive greater efficiency in our collective endeavors.

Shared Kitchen Ithaca is Here!

Shared Kitchen Ithaca, a brand new 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization offering state of the art food production equipment in nearly 4,000 square feet of shared use commercial kitchen space, invites the community for a grand opening celebration on Thursday, May 8 from 4:30pm-6:30pm with a ribbon cutting at 5:00pm.
Where: Shared Kitchen Ithaca, 700 West Buffalo Street, Ithaca (between Krenzer Marine and Cross Fit Vertical, parking available between the building and waterfront trail
Snacks from Shared Kitchen members and drinks to toast will be provided.

Foodnet Meals on Wheels' 12th annual Mac 'n Cheese Bowl is coming to the Ithaca Farmers Market on Wednesday May 7, 4:30-7pm!
About 20 local eateries will be whipping up their versions of everyone’s favorite comfort food. Taste them all, and vote for your favorites!
Come enjoy tastings, info booths, raffle baskets, and more, helping raise money for the only local organization that cooks and delivers hot meals directly to vulnerable older adult and others in need!

Airy Acres Wine Release: Test Flight Series
We are so excited to be releasing two new wines: 2024 Blanc de Blau and 2024 Saperavi Rosé. Both are part of a new Test Flight Series; small-batch experimental wines that test the waters with different ways of making wine.
We will be having a release event on May 10th with a guided tasting and presentation at 2pm, tickets for that available on our webstore. Besides that, the two new wines will be available for normal tastings starting May 10th.

"Journeys" at State of the Art Gallery
Artists Hsiao-Pei Yang and Annemiek Haralson will give a glimpse through their paintings into some of the journeys they have made. They will give an artist talk at the SOAG gallery on May 11th at 3 P.M.
Regular gallery hours are Thursday-Sunday 12-5 pm. 120 W State St. Curbside parking and ADA accessibility. 607-277-1626. This program is made possible, in part, with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant program from the New York State Council on the Arts, with the support of the office of the Governor and NYS Legislature, administered by the Community Arts Partnership of Tompkins County.
