Team Anewalt’s treasures the long-term relationships we have with so many of our customers!

When we think of some of those customers who have grown with us over the last decades, the Ebersoles are some of the first who come to mind for Eddie and Lori.

A physician at Reading hospital for 43 years, Dr. Tom Ebersole met Eddie over thirty years ago while enjoying their common passion for dirt bike riding. Tom and his wife of 37 years, Jeannie, decided to build their retirement home in Lower Heidelberg 25 years ago.

Both Tom and Jeannie knew that landscaping would be an important finishing touch to the setting of their new and beautiful home and Eddie Anewalt was who came to mind to make that dream come true.

“Since I knew Ed and knew of his business, the choice to use them was very easy,“ Tom said.

And so, the sizable project began on the Ebersoles’ 20-acre property.

Team Anewalt’s was tasked with the initial preparation of the wooded area of the large lot, lawn installation, planning and filling plant beds, and installing pavers in the circular area in front of Tom and Jeannie’s new home. Icing the cake was Anewalt’s plan and installation of decorative lighting to highlight the entire area.

Tom said, “All of this greatly enhanced the presentation of our home when you come down our driveway and first see a residence in the middle of 20 acres.”

Although the Ebersoles have no further special projects in mind at their Lower Heidelberg home, Tom confirms that Team Anewalt’s has given the couple a full commitment to quality when with the ongoing maintenance the staff provides, including mowing, fertilization, and weed control.

Customers know that over the decades, Eddie and Lori continue to commit to customers in the region ongoing excellence in their customer service and Tom confirms his and Jeannie’s own experience with Team Anewalt’s.

Excellence in business practices, customer service, commitment to quality and staffing are given high marks by the Ebersoles over the 24 years they’ve lived in their retirement home, and special kudos were given to the friendly voice which many customers hear when they call our front desk.

“Having Ruth answer the phone and being directly involved with Customer Service is a huge asset with a live voice,” he said. “There’s always follow up if we find a problem and it’s easily addressed and taken care of.”

And Tom believes that Lori’s increased involvement as vice-president of Anewalt’s has brought the business to a much higher level and has praise for the partnership Eddie and Lori bring to their business accomplishments and relationships.

“They are both excellent communicators and pride themselves on their landscaping business beautifying both commercial and residential properties,” Tom said.

After decades of bringing our best to Berks and its surrounding counties, Eddie and Lori continue to build their business on excellence and the love and appreciation of the outdoors and all its beauty.
