Air Pollution in Hounslow

The lockdown imposed across the UK due to the Covid-19 pandemic had a significant positive impact on air pollution in Hounslow. This is due to a number of factors including a reduction in road traffic and air travel. Between March and May 2020, nitrogen dioxide (NO2) was down 34% across the borough, compared to the same period in 2019. Particulate matter was also greatly reduced, down 12% on average.

Between June to August 2020 there has been an 16% rise in nitrogen dioxide pollution. This is still lower than the value recorded over the same period in 2019, however the trend is increasing as the borough comes out of lockdown.

Between 1st April 2019 and 31st March 2020 there were 18 airTEXT alert days in Hounslow. If you are concerned about air quality and would like to receive regular warnings of high pollution, you can sign up to our free airTEXT service, which sends alerts via text message or email. See www.airtext.info for further details.

Why it's time to understand & measure your customers' needs

When: Wednesday, 14 October 2020
Time: 10-11am

For any organisation, understanding their customers and what they need from the organisation should be a high priority. Yet many businesses fail to fully listen to their customers, focussing on scores and metrics rather than working out how best to interpret extremely valuable verbatim feedback that customers often leave in surveys. In this webinar Jonathan Mindell and Stephen Hewett, practice and thought leaders from Internal Consulting Group (ICG), will share their advice and solutions to deliver a better customer experience, including increasing revenue, improving margin and reducing customer churn. This webinar will also cover alternative ways of measuring and taking action on customer feedback.
