Virtual Drop-In Labs Have Begun - Find a Session!



Get Prepared!


  1. Begin with "Getting Started in Workday" Training- Comprehensive recordings and step-by-step guides (Job Aids) have been prepared to get you started in Workday before Go-Live! Learn how to log in and navigate Workday, view and edit your profile, and locate important alerts and updates. WATCH NOW
  2. Review Role-Based Training Materials - View the videos and Job Aids designed to assist you with learning Workday Time Tracking, Procurement, Budget, Recruiting and more! Visit our Training page: VIEW NOW
  3. Identify a Virtual Drop-In Lab to Attend - Save the Date! Sessions will feature Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) ready to answer your questions. Topics include Time Tracking, Procurement, Budget, Recruiting, etc.! Find a date that works for you and mark it on your schedule! Visit the Virtual Drop-In Labs calendar a few minutes before the session begins and use the link provided to connect via Microsoft Teams. Please ensure that you have completed the appropriate training prior to attending a Lab.

Tracking & Submitting Time in Workday - SP and OPS
Support Personnel (SP) and Other Personal Services (OPS) employees will record their time in Workday. Timekeepers, managers & supervisors will review and approve the hours in Workday.

Q: How long will the Workday Training Tenant be available?

A: The Training Tenant (FGCU5) will be available through the end of August 2020. Utilize the Training environment to practice using the functions and features of Workday without impacting live data or processes. Begin with the "Getting Started in Workday" training materials available on the Training webpage .

All University faculty and staff will use Workday!

Gulfline Changes - Many functions previously found in Gulfline will now be available in Workday. As a result, time submission, emergency contact information and more will no longer be available in Gulfline. Pay stubs will be available in Gulfline until August 2020.

No changes to the Faculty Services menu, which includes Grade entry, will be made at this time. 

Payroll Update - The Payroll calendar has been updated beginning with Payroll 14. View new Payroll calendars on the Office of the Controller website .

Workday Launch Checklist - Your essential "to-do" list at Workday go-live! The Launch checklist is designed to help you perform tasks such as verifying your home address and phone number, adding emergency contact information, and reviewing payment specifications for payroll and reimbursements. Check your email on July 6 (Go-Live) for more details.
