Do you enjoy working with your hands and with small tools? A leading information and technology company seeks experienced Assembly Technicians for its bustling Plattsburgh facility. If you are mechanically inclined, can work well independently and have solid math and computer skills, our client wants to meet you today! Minimum one year education or experience in related experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
-Understand electrical components within a system
-Troubleshoot and perform corrective action when necessary
-Use hand tools effectively and safely
-Support continuous improvements (be a team player!)
Job type: Full-time, temporary (6-8 weeks)
Hours: 8-4:30, M-F
Pay: $14/hour

On June 29, Murnane Building Contractors held a groundbreaking ceremony on behalf of SterRX at the site of the new 60,000 square foot SterRX warehouse and distribution facility.
Assemblyman Billy Jones really summed up the atmosphere of the occasion when he spoke about the new facility.
“It really is a joyous occasion when you see this. You see the growth of this company and what they’re going to add for future generations here in the Town of Plattsburgh and throughout the North Country,” Jones said.
Garry Douglas, the North Country Chamber of Commerce president, spoke about the growth the area is experiencing currently.
“We also have simultaneously seen continued growth in our manufacturing buster and its breadth and its diversity have served the region well,” Douglas went on to add “It is an amazing success story.”
Jerry Webb, executive vice president for SterRx, talked about how SterRX provides needed medication to its customers, and the growth the company is currently experiencing, “So it’s a growing business and it’s a national business.”
“I encourage anybody to come to us and present projects to us cause this is the lifeblood of the North Country,” Trent Trahan, the chairperson of Clinton County Industrial Development Acquisition said on their partnership with SterRX.
