How to Help Tornado Victims

To help locally, the City of Greenwood is collecting donations to aid the ongoing tornado relief efforts for Mayfield, Kentucky. Volunteers will continue collecting donations at the empty lot at Main Street and Washington Street, across from the Greenwood Fire Headquarters, until 4 p.m. on Tuesday. An up-to-date list of items currently needed can be found here.

To provide financial support, you can donate to the relief fund created by Kentucky Sports Radio (KSR) and the Kentucky Chamber Foundation. With the money raised in this fund, the two groups will work with local communities, local chambers, and state and local elected officials to ensure the needs of these areas are met in the wake of tragedy. The Kentucky Chamber Foundation, Inc., is a Section 501(c)(3) public charity, and donations to it are generally eligible for tax deduction in the United States.
