Thank you to those who participated in DRMA’s recent membership survey. We are currently reviewing the data and hope to share results with you soon. Your input, feedback and suggestions will help ensure that DRMA’s programs, services and events are aligned with your interests and needs, and hopefully bring more value to your membership investment.

One area we will continue to focus on this year and beyond is our career outreach activities, but we cannot do it alone. We need your help and involvement to build the future workforce! If your facility shows well, host a student tour, whether on national MFG Day (the first Friday in October), during Ohio’s Manufacturing Month (October), and on any other day that works for you and your school partners to showcase the great occupations available in our region. We’ll help you plan your tour and connect you to schools! Interested? Let us know. Who knows? You might even be recognized at next year’s WorkForce Shoptalk. Be sure to check out our LinkedIn post to see our 2026 award recipients – and thank them when you see them for their dedication to building your future workforce.

Speaking of LinkedIn, if you want to engage, connect, and contribute to local online conversations about our industry, join DRMA’s private LinkedIn Group, exclusively for employees of DRMA member companies. The group provides an on-line venue to ask questions, learn from each other, and collaborate on a private platform dedicated to our members. And we make it easy! Just click here to request to join.

Fair pay isn’t just the right thing to do — it’s smart business. But knowing whether your compensation is competitive in today’s Dayton Region market takes reliable data, which is where the DRMA Wage & Benefit Survey comes in. When you participate in the survey, you’ll receive the report for FREE! Why do we offer it free to participants? Because strong participation leads to stronger, more statistically reliable results for everyone. Your input helps create a more accurate picture of wages and benefits across our region. The survey link will be emailed on 6/8. Contact Shay with any questions.

We're still accepting sponsors for the 9/28 Fall Golf Outing if you want to lock in your spot before registration opens on 6/8 - remember that our outings sell out quickly! Your sponsorship has a direct impact on the number of career awareness initiatives we can undertake. Contact Susan for information.
