The Provincial Labour Management Health and Safety Committee (PLMHSC) is seeking members of the Labour-Management Network to join a Working Group to look into exploring and implementing approaches to ensuring “lockout and tagout” is required for all energy sources that may endanger a worker on construction projects.

The working group is being created as a result of a recommendation stemming from the death of Miguel Bailon in 2013 on a construction site.

The Working Group is expected to convene in the Spring 2024.
