The Florida Developmental Disabilities Council has worked tirelessly alongside self-advocates to create the Working People with Disabilities Program.
This program is designed to allow individuals the right to work while still receiving home and community based waiver services.
The Council worked hard to see this program become available and we are pleased to let you know it’s here! With our help, the Agency for Healthcare Administration and the Department of Children and Families created two documents to answer questions and provide the information necessary to help you navigate the new program.
