Happy Holidays from Pathways!

Although it is still November, we're already getting into the holiday spirit here at Pathways. In celebration of the season, we'll be sharing some of our staff's and volunteers' favorite holiday traditions and memories.

Elizabeth Johnson, volunteer

"My favorite part of the winter holidays is combining my family traditions with my husband's family traditions when we had children. My family is Swedish, and Christmas is celebrated more on Christmas Eve. My husband's family is from Texas, and everything is about Christmas morning for them. So, our kids opened some gifts on Christmas Eve and then on Christmas morning, they'd open stockings and have more presents under the tree. But everything would be unlabeled, so they'd have to figure out if it was from Santa or not!"

Brittney Denton, Compass Early Learning Center Program Director

"My favorite memories during the winter holidays growing up was when all of my siblings would come back together at my dad's house for Christmas. We were all really far apart in age and lived far apart, so it was just magical to come downstairs in the morning and all be together."

Supporting Our Mission

As the holiday season approaches, many families are filled with joy and anticipation. However, many are not in the financial position to provide holiday meals, gifts, or even basic essentials to their families.

Your generosity could help Compass bring comfort and joy to their families during the holiday season.
