Providing mediation and other services in Anne Arundel County
which encourage peaceful communication and conflict resolution.
Peace In an Upside Down World!

We are so grateful for the help and support you have provided the Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center in the past. We have been able to provide outstanding and critically-needed conflict mediation to those in need with our dedicated group of trained volunteers. Even in these times of upheaval, we have maintained, and even exceeded our mission by quickly, consistently, and inventively responding to the calls and needs of our community in crisis.

Consider this:
  • We turned on a dime when the pandemic caused most of our partners to shut down by re-tooling and re-training so that we could immediately offer virtual mediation services to the residents of Anne Arundel County.
  • We forged new partnerships that help us with pandemic-caused emergencies. For example, by teaming with the County Executive’s uniquely proactive initiative,  “Operation Eviction Intervention”, we’re providing tenant-landlord mediation services to residents facing eviction.
  • We never skipped a beat during a time when conflicts, frustration, and tension seemed to escalate – and even increased our referrals and community cases during the pandemic!  When several partners were forced to suspend operations, we didn’t.
  • We are especially pleased that the County Police Department has begun referring hate incidents and domestic conflicts to us, and has requested training of all police officers and Command staff.

All this, and more, wouldn’t have been possible without you!

And now we have launched our End of Year Campaign that we hope will allow us to maintain the successes noted above, and add even more services to our community. The crisis is not over and this isn’t the time to let up. Our goal for our End of Year Campaign is to raise at least $15,000.00. We cannot achieve this goal without your help.

We’re reaching out to you in hope that you will demonstrate compassion for those in our community who are in conflict. Would you be willing to make a special year-end contribution of $25, $50, or $100 to help your neighbors learn how to live more peaceful lives? This year we are pleased to announce that donations up to $5,000 will be matched by one of our most generous supporters.

Please join us by making your gift on our online donation page, or by sending a check to the Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center, 2666 Riva Rd., Ste. 130, Annapolis, MD 21401. Thank you for your support.

The Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center (AACRC) began in 1993 when a group of local citizens met to discuss violence and create a community-based solution. Today, the AACRC offers mediation, facilitation, and community conferencing services to individuals and groups in conflict. These services are free of charge to the residents of Anne Arundel County. We also offer training and workshops in mediation, anger management, and other conflict resolution processes.
We are a 501c3 organization and your gifts are tax-deductible.
