Design Consultant — Budget Blinds of Leavenworth
Are you a people person with an eye for style and a love for helping others? Budget Blinds of Leavenworth is looking for a motivated Design Consultant to join our growing team serving Leavenworth, KCK, and Northeast Kansas.
About the Role As a Design Consultant, you will meet with homeowners and businesses for free in-home consultations, helping them find the perfect custom window covering solutions for their space. You will manage your own schedule and territory, bringing the showroom directly to our customers' doors.
What to Expect This is a commission based position with unlimited earning potential. To set you up for success, we provide a paid training stipend during your first three months as you learn our products, process, and sales approach. After training, compensation moves to commission only earnings.

Convention and Visitors Bureau Manager
The City of Leavenworth seeks a Convention and Visitors Bureau Manager that will bring innovation and energy to the First City in Kansas. Nestled along the banks of the Missouri River, Leavenworth boasts a military post, a private university, a historic downtown, unique historical and cultural museums, and various attractions. The Manager will market Leavenworth as a tourist destination, serving as the City’s DMO and facilitating group tours. Savvy skills in the use of software to develop marketing materials and advertisements are required. Knowledge of new and emerging digital outreach methods and an array of social media to reach wider demographics is desired.
This position oversees half a million dollars from the Transient Guest Tax Fund and two staff members. Will also provide leadership for the City’s annual festival Camp Leavenworth, managed by a professional event company. Anticipated hiring range of $62,944 to $78,681 with consideration given to those with a depth of tourism, marketing and communications experience.

Barton Community College, Fort Leavenworth Campus, seeks applicants for a full-time, replacement Student Services Specialist. Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED; Associates in Business Technology or related field preferred. Ability to interact professionally and effectively with students, faculty, and staff; work with students of diverse ages and backgrounds; and ability to operate independently/multitask; problem solving is a must. Experienced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required as well as effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Position serves as first point of contact with all students entering the Fort Leavenworth office, will assist students/potential students with information about programs/degrees offered and general information about the college and classes. Will also assist with all office duties including processing student enrollment and transcripts, working with multiple operating systems to assist students and staff, answering the phone and e- mail, and other traditional office duties. (Military Knowledge preferred). Position requires willingness to travel to Fort Riley to pick up supplies or attend training, make weekly trips to the post office, and conduct other Barton-related business as needed.
