Workplace Resource Receives 2025 Design Award

Workplace Resource, Denver, CO

The mirror ceiling at Workplace Resource, an inspirational showroom for interior designers in Denver, CO, has won the Metal Construction Agency 2025 Design Award for "Creative Use of Metal". Rigidized^® Metals' newest pattern, 1WND, named for its resemblance to wind on water, makes up these ceiling panels.

"The annual MCA Design Awards spotlight the most innovative and inspiring uses of metal in architecture. These awards honor projects that elevate design through creativity, performance, and the transformative potential of metal in the built environment. Selected by a panel of industry professionals in the architecture community, the winning entries represent the best in metal construction - projects that push boundaries, solve challenges, and redefine what's possible." - MCA Design Awards article (linked above, and includes all Award winners).

Pattern 1WND was chosen for it's unique style. In this new, first generation space, the pattern provides a mirroring effect with its ambient light and color reflecting properties. The water-like properties of the pattern inspire a one-of-a-kind play on biophilia, or the innate human tendency to connect with nature.
