The leasing of commercial real estate space is an important step when completing a development project and throughout the holding period of a residential property’s life. Right-sizing a building’s first floor space and its physical attributes can increase the profitability of the asset, add to tenant and community enjoyment of the property, and support the project’s ongoing feasibility.

This course will provide an understanding of the sequential steps in bringing space to market; establishing rent; tenant selection; negotiating lease terms and space delivery condition, and bring students through to the final stage of lease execution and tenant move-in.
