The Reading Buddies Program kicked off in November for the second graders at both the Kennedy-Longfellow School and Fletcher Maynard Academy.

We are so grateful to Minnie Mildwoff, CSV Board Vice President and Cambridge resident, for gifting 75 of her beautiful homegrown plants to teachers and staff members at the Cambridge Rindge & Latin School! She is pictured here with Raul Madera Torres, Upper School Program Coordinator, who helped distribute them around the school.

We still have an immediate need for volunteers to serve as one-to-one tutors and mentors with high school students of all levels and needs specifically in the subjects of Chemistry or Biology. Tutoring takes place in the library at the Cambridge Rindge & Latin High School.

Art & Science in One (AS1) is an outdoor program in which volunteers mentor fourth and fifth graders from Tobin Montessori, focusing on observing nature in a calm and mindful state, noting and sketching what is seen, and supporting one another through these endeavors.
