TRADE SKILLS WORKSHOP UPDATE:

Praise God for helping us raise $85,000 for the new trade skills workshop. We are only $5,000 away from reaching our goal!

The outside is pretty much done except for some trim and the shingling. The plumbing is roughed in and the electrician is working on wiring. Windows are coming around Oct. 19. We will begin installing ceiling blocks this week in preparation for installing ceiling tiles. All work should be completed sometime in December!

Products are still being made in a temporary location, thanks to Grace Lutheran Church for letting us use their workshop! We have a new bird house design in the works and a big-daddy layered cross.

PARTICIPANT PROGRESS:

We praise Him for 11 program participants, 7 graduates and a 64% completion rate!

Our graduates continue to experience transformation and productive living free of addiction. Our spots often fill up quickly. If you know of someone who would be a good fit for our program, direct them to our website where they can download an application:

Congratulations Shawn!

We are celebrating Shawn and congratulating him on a HUGE accomplishment of graduating from the program. There was a party held for him at the bowling alley to recognize his achievement!

Sylvan Dale Barn Dance Fundraiser

A great time it was had at the Sylvan Dale Barn Dance on August 20th! All funds raised were split and donated to the New Reflections Pathways to Hope Women’s home and the Greater Hayward House of Hope men’s home.

We can’t thank our community enough for its generosity!

HUGE CHARITY RUMMAGE SALE SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19!

The Greater Hayward House of Hope is hosting a rummage sale at The Hayward Wesleyan Church gym on Saturday, November 19, from 8:30am-2pm.

Donations of gently used household, furniture, tools, sporting goods, holiday items, winter clothing, etc... can be dropped off in the Wesleyan church gym on Wednesday, (Nov 16, 9-4) Thursday (Nov 17, 9-4). Not accepting TVs, books, glassware & dishes, computers, baby car seats, and large exercise equipment. Fall/winter clothing and items preferred, no summer clothing/items please.

All proceeds of the sale benefit the Greater Hayward House of Hope’s rescue mission to help men overcome life controlling addiction issues. Volunteers needed, please call (715) 558-1555.
