Dear Principal:
The Virginia Student Councils Association is thrilled to bring back its exclusive workshop for all student council and class council advisors. This is your advisor's chance to advance their advising skills in the company of other advisors from around the state. We're excited to announce that the guest presenter for 2025 is Sandy Ginger, president of the National Association for Student Activities and the former director of the Nevada Association of Student Councils.
The deadline to register for our Advisor Workshop is coming quickly - November 25! Before you leave for Thanksgiving break, be sure your advisor completes the online registration for this unique opportunity to connect with fellow advisors from across the state, gain new ideas, and refresh your motivation.
Whether a new advisor or a seasoned pro, attendees will leave with fresh ideas and practical tools to elevate their advising game. Topics include:
✅ Understanding the purpose of student council
✅ Developing student leadership skills
✅ Boosting student body engagement

This lively, hands-on workshop is a great opportunity to network, learn, and recharge your passion for student leadership. Breakfast and lunch are included.
