World AIDS Day: December 1, 2024

As communities across the globe commemorate World AIDS Day, so does the Denver metro area. Join us for an interfaith observance, featuring a memorial candlelight walk and followed by a service of healing & hope. This annual event serves as a reminder to prevent new HIV infections and provide essential services to all people living with HIV globally, as well as remembering those we have lost due to AIDS.

Imani Latif, Executive Director of It Takes a Village, will share a keynote address. It Takes a Village was established in 2002 to reduce health and social disparities among people of color in the Denver metro area.

Join Us in Kenya & Rwanda in 2025

Whether it's your first trip or your tenth, you are cordially invited to join our Executive Director and various Center supporters on their upcoming trip to Africa.

While exact dates have yet to be confirmed, plans are coming together for a 10 to 14 day trip in July of 2025. Time will be spent with our local community partners, witnessing the incredible work being done combating poverty, disease, and inequity.

There will also be time to soak in the incredible culture and beauty of the countries, including safari. Curious to learn more?

Meet the Center's New Executive Director

On October 28, Justin Levy began his tenure as the Center's new Executive Director. A 2021 graduate of Regis University (M.A. in Nonprofit Management), Justin has been a donor, volunteer and board member of the Center prior to his taking on his new role. In 2023, he travelled with Center supporters to Kenya and Rwanda.
