It is May 10th -World Collage Day- and we are excited to announce the opening of the "Art for a Cause" online gallery!
In 2023 we sent out our first call for collage art and received more than 6,000 submissions. This year, in honor of World Collage Day, we only accepted a maximum of four submissions of 4"x4" collage art per person.
Collages were crafted and sent by individuals of all ages- from community groups, elementary and high schools, and arts organizations around the country. We received 927 collages from 360 people, mailed from 17 countries,
and 37 states in the U.S.!

Each original collage will be attached to a blank greeting card and made available to patients, caregivers, families, and hospital staff at
MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
We thank AHP artist-in-residence Jennifer Wilkin Penick for her
hard work and dedication to bringing this amazing idea into fruition!
