World Cup 2026: Final Watch Parties & Transportation Options | | |
Residents and visitors should expect increased traffic and pedestrian activity in North Beach due to anticipated World Cup fan activity.
Expected activity periods:
Saturday, July 18: Increased activity expected from 12 PM to 11 PM
- France vs. England at 5 PM
- Watch party at the Sand Bowl
Sunday, July 19: Increased activity expected from 12 PM to 11 PM
- Spain vs. Argentina at 3 PM
- Watch party at the Sand Bowl
- Fan gathering expected at Manolo on 73 Street & Collins Avenue
Temporary barricades, traffic control measures and parking restrictions will be in place in portions of the affected areas to support pedestrian safety and event operations. Please observe all posted signage and parking regulations.
Ocean Drive remains closed to vehicular traffic between 5 Street and 14 Place until Monday, July 20, 2026.
Please plan ahead, use alternate routes when possible and expect delays.

Catch every goal at free World Cup watch parties happening in North Beach and South Beach.
The City of Miami Beach, in partnership with The Rhythm Foundation and the FIFA World Cup 2026 Miami Host Committee, is bringing the action to life with public watch parties at the Sand Bowl, adjacent to the Miami Beach Bandshell located at 7275 Collins Avenue. Gates will open two hours prior to the start of the match.
Saturday, July 18 at 5 PM
Bronze Final: France vs. England
Sunday, July 19 at 3 PM
FIFA World Cup Final™: Spain vs. Argentina
Concurrent city-sponsored watch parties will take place in Lummus Park at Ocean Drive and 14 Street for both matches. Fans can bring beach chairs and blankets to Lummus Park, but umbrellas are not allowed.

Additional Special Event Free Transportation Enhancements This Weekend
To accommodate championship weekend crowds, Miami Beach will provide free water taxis, shuttles and enhanced trolley service on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19.

Miami Beach Water Taxi Service
Free water taxi service between Venetian Marina (Miami) and Maurice Gibb Memorial Park area (Miami Beach) will run every 30 minutes from 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Water Taxi Shuttle Bus Service
Water taxi shuttle bus service will run every 15 minutes from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.

To North Beach: Shuttle buses depart from the water taxi landing at Maurice Gibb Memorial Park (18 Street and Purdy Avenue), stop near the 400 W 42 Street Garage on the west side of Sheridan Avenue, just north of 41 Street (Trolley Stop #219), and end at the Miami Beach Bandshell (7275 Collins Avenue).

To South Beach: Shuttle buses depart from the water taxi landing at Maurice Gibb Memorial Park (18 Street and Purdy Avenue), stop at the 17 Street Garage between Euclid Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue (Trolley Stop #100), and continue to Washington Avenue between 11 and 12 streets (Trolley Stop #106), a short walk from Lummus Park.

From North Beach: Board the shuttle in front of the Miami Beach Bandshell (7275 Collins Avenue). The shuttle will stop near the 400 W 42 Street Garage on the west side of Sheridan Avenue, just north of 41 Street (Trolley Stop #219) before arriving to the water taxi at Maurice Gibb Memorial Park.

From South Beach: Board at Washington Avenue between 11 and 12 streets (Trolley Stop #106). The shuttle will stop at the 17 Street Garage between Euclid Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue (Trolley Stop #100) and return to the water taxi at Maurice Gibb Memorial Park.
Free Park & Ride Shuttles
Park-and-ride shuttles will run every 10 minutes from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.

Route 1: Shuttles will travel from the 67 Street parking garage, picking up on the 67 Street side of the garage, to the Miami Beach Bandshell (7275 Collins Avenue).

Route 2: Shuttles will operate from the surface parking lots on 83-85 streets (Trolley Stop #308 located on the east side of Collins Avenue north of 83 Street) to the surface parking lot at the North Shore Branch Library at 7501 Collins Avenue (Trolley Stop #304 located on the east side of Collins Avenue south of 76 Street).

Ongoing Citywide Transportation
Residents and visitors are encouraged to continue using the year‑round free Miami Beach Trolley and Freebee services. Real‑time trolley tracking is available through the Miami Beach Gov app. The city will increase service on key Miami Beach Trolley routes throughout the weekend to meet anticipated demand.
Miami Beach also offers miles of Beachwalk and green bike lanes, along with extensive bicycle parking citywide. View the city’s bicycle parking maps for more information. For added convenience, Citi Bike provides more than a thousand traditional and electric‑assist bicycles at stations throughout the city. Please note: e‑bikes and e‑scooters are not allowed on the Beachwalk or shared‑use paths.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, the City of Miami Beach will implement enhanced public safety staffing, crowd management protocols and traffic plans.
CERT volunteers will be available for any first aid needs at the Sand Bowl on July 18 and 19.
Headed to an event or watch party? Be the fan who speaks up. If something doesn’t look right, report it to local authorities. If you see something, say something. Call 911 for emergencies.

Sanitation
The city's Sanitation Division is performing enhanced pressure washing operations and litter can maintenance citywide. Cleanup crews are scheduled seven days a week, from very early morning hours to late at night, to avoid heavy periods of traffic and pedestrian activities. In addition to the weekly pressure washing schedule already in place, Sanitation is also deep cleaning high-traffic areas in North Beach, Mid Beach and South Beach.

Please drink lots of water, wear sunscreen and call 911 if you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms of heat-related illnesses. In addition, remember to check on pets frequently and try to walk them in the morning or evening, before the sun is at its hottest.

The Betsy - South Beach Presents “The Goal is Love” Projections by [dNASAb]
The Betsy - South Beach hosts local transmedia artist [dNASAb], pronounced “diznee,” for a new digital projection installation on “The Betsy Orb” on display now through July 18, celebrating the World Cup games.
This immersive cinematic fan experience, titled “THE GOOOOAAAAAL IS LOVE,” transforms The Orb into a living theater of soccer culture, collective emotion and global celebration where the city, the crowd and the game itself become part of the film. This installation launches alongside The Orb’s permanent, state-of-the-art projection system that features commissioned digital works year-round by contemporary artists from around the world.
