Ignite Curiosity. Inspire Possibilities.

Help Inspire the Next Generation of Our Workforce

Worlds of Work (WOW) brings businesses, educators, and economic development partners from across the Northern Shenandoah Valley together to give eighth-grade students an engaging, hands-on introduction to career opportunities. This year’s event will welcome students to Laurel Ridge Community College’s Middletown Campus on October 2, 2026, where they will explore careers through interactive experiences led by more than 70 businesses.

What Students Will Experience
