Meditation Moment
From the Pastor ....
"Love one another as I have loved you."
(John 13:34)
Our Savior's is a very special and loving community. Our vision is to "demonstrate God's love to all," is coming to fruition! On Sunday, 35 volunteers from the Caring Tree received assignments to intentionally reach out to all of our members. If you get a phone call from a number you don't recognize, it is likely a member of the Caring Tree or me, Pastor Karna. We want to check-in with each other, offer prayer and continued support as we wait for this global pandemic storm to pass.

While we are reaching inward, a healthy body of Christ has arms open to the wider community. It is with great joy that I share this video update on our giving challenge. As a congregation that tithes 10% of our offerings to help feed the hungry and care for hurting, we have a new opportunity before us. An anonymous household from Our Savior's will release $30,000 of offerings as long as 25 additional households increase their own intended giving at this time. We are so close! Would you prayerfully consider joining this cause to share the love of God intentionally to a hurting world? Watch this video for more information.

Care of Creation Tip
In gratitude, caring for God's Air, Water, and Land
Reusing Sand
Now that the snow has melted away in our Spring warmth, sand that you spread on walks and driveways is reappearing.  Rather than sweep it aside, you can sweep it up and collect it to be used again next winter.  Besides continuing to avoid using salt which harms our waters, you'll be reducing the environmental effect of excavating sand deposits on the shores of our rivers.
A lot of "just one persons" working together can accomplish mighty things. ~ A message from your OSLC Care of Creation team.
