Adult Education Topics
September 15: Seven Covenants.  Dave Shaw will share the Biblical Covenants (agreements/promises/contracts) which are important features of the Bible's teaching. Seven specific covenants made between God and humankind (all in the Old Testament), are revealed in Scripture. Some are meant for all people, some specific to Israel...and all are based on who God is and His plans for the world. Come and see.
September 22:  Ana Becerra, the mission developer of Cristo Rey, a developing church out of Christ the King Lutheran Church in New Brighton, will be with us to share her experience of sharing the good news with the growing Latino population in the metro area.
Job Posting for Music Director
Our Savior's Lutheran Church is seeking an adult Choral and Instrumental Director for our faith ministry and worship. This is a part-time role working approximately 6 - 10 hours/week. Interested candidates should send their resume and request for a job description to the church office
  Fourth Friday Food and Friendship
Save the Date! We are partnering with the St. Croix Family Resource Center and area churches to offer "Fourth Friday Food and Friendship" community meals to people who are hungry, lonely or in need of social connections. Our "Fourth Friday" is November 22. We will be serving a
meal and fellowship at 5:30 - 7:30 pm and volunteers will be needed.
If you can help us in planning this event, please contact Sue Hedlund at 651-303-8322 or Catherine Solheim at 651-414-1556 for more
Walk & Talk Group
Get Moving!   The Walk & Talk group will resume their weekly walks on Mondays, 5:30 - 6:30 pm starting September 9. As weather and daylight permits, we will be walking from the Brown's Creek Trailhead on Neal Ave. near McKusick Road. If it is raining, we will meet at the church. Later in the fall, we will move to the Pony Activity Center. For more information, contact Sue Hedlund or 651-303-8322.
Valley Outreach Undies Campaign
Every fall, Valley Outreach appeals to faith communities in the Stillwater area to help individuals in need by contributing to the "Undie Sunday" campaign by donating new socks or packages of underwear. OSLC members have generously contributed to this campaign in past years, even winning the traveling trophy. We will be asking OSLC members to participate again this year.  So watch for additional information coming soon.
