Week of Sunday, August 2: Worship & Announcements
MISSION STATEMENT : Celebrating and sharing God’s love in a welcoming community of faith, while serving others.
What's New
COVID-19 Update - July
The church council decided to move forward on planning for in-person worship. We continue to be concerned for the safety and health of our staff, members, and guests due to recent increases in infection rates.
  • The council remains committed to providing online worship services, even as in-person worship becomes an option. We recognize that not all members will be prepared to return to in-person worship and other activities.
  • Plans are progressing for an outdoor worship service at 9am on Sunday, August 23. Look for more details f as this date approaches.
  • Inside worship is planned to resume on Sunday, September 13. Currently planning for 2 worship services (8am and 10:30am) each Sunday. The hope is to live-stream the 8am service using recently purchased video streaming equipment.
  • Faith formation program activities remain under study and development. More information should be available around mid-August
  • The resources committee identified an add-on to our HVAC system that reduces airborne particulates (dust, dander, pollen, mold spores) and kills up to 99% of bacteria, mold and viruses. The council approved installation of this newer technology in the sanctuary. This system does not completely eliminate any risk, but it does reduce the amount of virus exposure that may occur.
  • Our previous approved guidelines will continue to be in place for in-person activities within the church building.  Read the guidelines for worship.
  • Council approved the continued use of the building and church grounds for smaller groups of people (members and non-member organizations). Read the guidelines for groups.

Congregational Survey Results
Seventy six (76) responses were submitted to the survey. We are sharing the survey results we are using in our continuing deliberations and decision making. Thank you for the comments and concerns that were added to help us discern further action.
Note that these Survey Summaries are also available on the Lord of Love Survey page.
