Bible Study Continues Tonight at 7:00 p.m.

This evening Pastor Kellen continues his livestream Matthew Study. He'll teach on Matthew 10:19-42, unpacking the trials and persecutions that the first disciples faced. Discover the attitude that even Christians today should have in the face of difficulty and learn why something so simple as a “cup of cold water” was so significant in Jesus’ eyes.

Wheaton First Deacons are hosting a Blood Drive on Saturday, August 22 from 8:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. As our medical community continues to deal with COVID-19, this is an opportunity for you to help! Safe, social distancing precautions will be in place and all appointments are spaced apart to allow for social distancing. The June Blood Drive was a huge success and we collected 26 units of blood. Because of our efforts, 78 lives were saved!
Outdoor Worship

You’re invited to a special Sunday service! We’ve been considering safe ways to experience worship as a community while still needing to exercise continued precautions. On Sunday, August 23 at 8:30 a.m., we’re planning for Church on the Lawn as an outdoor service that morning before the regular livestream worship. Weather permitting, we’ll maintain appropriate social distancing and attendees are asked to wear masks. If you’d like to take part, you’re encouraged to bring your own lawn chair or picnic blanket. All ages are welcome for this unique outdoor worship experience. We’d love to know if you’re coming and would appreciate an RSVP by emailing or calling the office at 630-668-5147.
Mobile Food Pantry

How do we serve our community during unprecedented times? First Pres is sponsoring an outdoor Mobile Food Pantry at Hubble Middle School, which will serve 250 families in District 200. Volunteers are needed from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Monday, August 31. It’s a great chance for families and individuals to serve. Contact the church office to reserve your spot.
